Cyberpunk 2077 has been getting patches around the clock before and after its release, but the latest patch seems to have fixed its most relevant issues.

As Liana Ruppert of Game Informer first reported, Cyberpunk 2077 It was found to contain images that may trigger seizures in patients with photosensitive epilepsy.

The worst of these was the brain dance sequence of the game, which caused Rupert to suffer from severe seizures. CD Projekt Red quickly reacted to the news, adding a new “Seizure Risk” warning message when the player first started the game before developing a permanent solution.

The patch has been released in the latest 1.04 patch, which has been released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

In the fix in the patch note, it states that it “modified the flickering effect on brain dance to reduce the risk of inducing epileptic symptoms. The effect has been eliminated, and the flicker frequency and amplitude have been reduced.”

Rupert confirmed on Twitter that she has partnered with CD Projekt Red to help test this fix. She said: “I think this will make many people with epilepsy and non-epilepsy feel safer in “Cyberpunk 2077.”

This does not seem to clearly solve the other lighting effects in the night city. For those suffering from epilepsy, this is still a risk, but it can still solve the worst-case scenario related to the storyline.

The new patch also fixes the streaming mode of the game, which still contains copyrighted songs, which may cause the content of the streaming media to be cracked down by the DMCA.

Further fixes include improving stability and fixing some bugs affecting the progress of certain tasks.

The patch has not yet been released on Xbox One. However, as these images that trigger seizures have problems, Microsoft said it will improve its authentication process. At startup, X-series users seem to be able to switch resolution and performance modes in Cyberpunk, while PS5 users cannot.

Nevertheless, CD Projekt Red needs to do more work to solve the performance problems in the basic PS4 and Xbox One version of the game. Although all versions have many reported errors, there are still some interesting glitches.

If you have just started using “Cyberpunk 2077”, you can find out which life path you should choose to start your story in “Night City”.
