With World of Warcraft: Shadowlands the pacts were introduced, one of the most interesting features of the last few years: Kryrians, Nekrolords, Nachtfae and Venthyr represent their respective home regions and all want you to join them.
The decision, however, is anything but easy: do you choose the pact that you find most sympathetic? Or do you choose the pact that promises the most benefits to your chosen class?

Either way: It can always be that you are dissatisfied with your choice and want to change. However, this is not that easy, which is why we explain the process step by step in this article.
Change pact in Shadowlands – that’s how it works
Changing the pact is very easy: Go to Oribos, the big hub in the middle of the Shadowlands. Now run on the lower level to the area where the former Lich King Bolvar Fordragon is – that is, the room in which you also chose your pact for the first time.
Now speak to one of the representatives of the four pacts:
- Kyrianer: Polemarch Addresses
- NekrolordsHe followed Mavix
- Night fae: Lady moonberry for the night fae
- Venthyr: General Draven
Now you don’t have to do anything else, except to confirm your choice and thus to leave your current pact twice – you can already start the pact campaign of your new friends and start increasing your fame level:
So you return to the old pact
What a little more difficult designed, is the return to your old pact – because you have to wait at least a week for this.
Talk to the envoy of your original pact about this: Since he now regards you as a traitor, you must first regain his trust by taking a short quest line concludes.
For the quest “Prove your worth” you have to fill a progress bar by completing world quests, killing dungeon bosses, finding treasures or killing rare enemies in the corresponding area.
After you’ve submitted the quest, you have to go to the next one Weekly Reset wait (every Wednesday morning) to tackle the final part of the series of tasks. Here, too, you have to fill a bar with the completion of the above-mentioned tasks – if you have managed this, you can sign up again with your original pact.
