A few months ago, Huami presented his new smartwatches, the Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2. We analyze the first but without having published the review yet, we already have new members in the catalog of this prolific manufacturer.

Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e

These two new watches were announced in China at a lower price than their older brothers, the Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2. In their home country, the cost of the new watches is 20% lower than advertised in February.

In addition, both have greater autonomy than the models that we can already buy in Europe.

But there is no trick. Both things are related to removing Wi-Fi connectivity from clocks, requiring the connection to the clock in order to be able to perform tasks that require the use of the internet.

This way the Amazfit GTR 2e offers up to 24 days of use on one charge while the GTS 2e stays at a very good 14 days.

The rest of the specs are the same as we’ve seen in the GTR 2 and GTS 2 before.

We don’t know if these two models will arrive in Europe and, if they do, at what cost. In China, both watches went on sale at 799 yuan, around 120 dollars at the exchange rate, and can be purchased from December 24.
