Frostpunk, based on the steampunk genre, is set in a new ice age. You collect your freezing bunch of citizens around a steam generator that you have to keep running with collected coal. Your city grows and thrives at temperatures of up to minus 70 degrees Celsius, but only with the sacrifice of human life. That and the story told by the way go deep under your skin, very typical for the Polish developer 11 Bit Studios, who became famous with the anti-war game This War of Mine.
