Great enthusiasm caused the preview of ‘Back 4 Blood‘, as it was observed that it has an excessive similarity with the Left 4 Dead franchise, but without neglecting its own plot.
These coincidences are not surprising since the Turtle Rock studio is the same development team for both productions and for those who have had the opportunity to enjoy Left 4 Dead, they will know what the matter is about.
‘Back 4 Blood’ is from the same genre of survival horror, which astonished by the intensity with which it presented its cooperative gameplay against the everlasting zombies.
Although Turtle Rock assured that the new video game was not a continuation of Left 4 Dead, it does not need to be either since it has all the ingredients of its previous success but enhanced in ‘Back 4 Blood’.
In it, the same excellent balance could be observed in the fights against the hordes of hungry zombies but this time it was noted that there are more special and powerful enemies, more bodily damage to the combatants and of course, more zombies.
Special mention should be made of the graphics that show with absolute fidelity the bodily destruction of the zombies with a superb red color to clearly mark the moment when you have hit the undead with an accurate ax.
A study that is gaining experience
Without a doubt, Left 4 Dead was the forge where the group behind such a successful title gained experience, so it is not surprising that ‘Back 4 Blood’ follows the same good path.
In an interview with Chris Ashton, design director of the Turtle Rock studio, he assured that he has made use of all the new existing technology so that ‘Back 4 Blood’ can be seen on the new generation consoles, adding to it the benefits of Unreal Engine 4 .
All this has resulted in this excellent video game that has enhanced the best of Left 4 Dead. ‘Back 4 Blood’ is scheduled to debut in June 2021.
