The elimination of ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ within the PlayStation Store caused much surprise within the community of PlayStation users. That is, one of the games that promised to be the title of the year and ended up becoming the disappointment of the year can no longer be acquired digitally on PS4 and PS5.
Now we know that despite this, CD Projkt Red promised which will continue to provide update support for PS4 and PS5 users. This means that those who have previously purchased the game will still be able to enjoy the patches when CD Projekt Red releases them.
Similarly, refunds are still available to PlayStation users who feel disappointed with the title. Adam Kicinski from CD Projekt Red reported that we will receive a new update in the next few days that will fix some issues. Two more updates should arrive in January 2021, something similar to what is scheduled for February 2021.
A more than rough launch
They have been complicated weeks for CD Projekt Red, a study that has seen the value of its shares fall after the disaster with ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ that has generated many economic losses. At the moment the game is still available within the Microsoft digital store, but the possibility that it will be removed later due to the same performance problems is not ruled out.
The truth is that the large number of errors with which ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ went on sale was something that condemned it to failure, at least in its early days. It remains to be seen if CDPR manages to correct these errors in 2021 and with its updates and multiplayer mode it becomes what users have waited for for eight years.
We remind you that ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia since last December 10.
