Ascension level and ray tracing are some of its additions
Crysis Remastered It was released a few months ago and hasn’t received very good reviews from the public and the trade press, which showed the shortcomings of one of the most graphically noble games of its time. Crytek That was really short with this overhaul, which aside from leaving the gameplay (especially the nefarious shooter) as is, it doesn’t add any graphical jumps that would unleash on current shooters.
Well, now the team that brought us Ryse: Sons of Rome on Xbox One has spent some time tweaking some aspects of the game, adding a new level called Ascension, and adding a follow-up for Laser tracing. The latter is what gave the team the most headaches on previous generation consoles (Xbox One X / PS4 Pro), as it literally shattered the image of the game.
Among the list of improvements and fixes that you can find in full in reddit, stand out:
- Ray tracing improvements
- CPU optimizations
- Shading and lighting quality improvements to “Very High”
- Climb level added
- Added option to enable aim assist with controllers
At least in addition to the extra content added, since there is no other way that extends the experience, some important aspects are being polished, such as gameplay and graphics fidelity. Much was expected of this title, which perhaps should have gotten a remake and not an insufficient facelift.
