The fourteen weapon types in Monster Hunter Rise now have an overview video. Here we discover the Volto ax that can transform into a sword, shield and ax.

The Volto Ax, introduced in Monster Hunter 4, is based on a system of flasks that are loaded in sword and shield mode to do more damage and then perform powerful elemental attacks in ax mode. With the new silk tie attack “performance versus use” you can repel a hit with the shield and fill the bottles to the maximum. The second silk link attack “Advanced Morphosis” brings mobility as you can move forward thanks to the Filoptera while switching the weapon into ax mode.

See you in January to test everything with the demo that will be available on Nintendo eShop. Monster Hunter Rise will then be released on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
