Pokémon GoOn the first Community Day of the new year, the fighting Pokémon Machop can be seen.
Machop will spawn in large numbers on January 16, 2021. At the time of this writing, the Pokémon Go Community Day page has not been updated with a time, but we can expect the event to take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in your local time based on previous community days.
Machop’s evolutionary line is very useful in both PvP and raiding, so this is a good chance to add some powerful Pokémon to your team. If it does develop into a machamp during the event, it will learn Payback, which is not a good move for raids, but a viable move for PvP.
As usual, the featured Pokémon appear with much higher chances of being shiny during the event period. Stardust from catching Pokémon is also tripled.
Machop was previously an option in a player vote for a community day it lost to Rhyhorn. Dratini and Vulpix were also on the ballot, but staging a Machop Community Day could mean Dratini and Vulpix may find themselves in the spotlight again.
Niantic announced earlier this month that players who purchase a ticket for the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto event by January 13th will receive free access to special research stories for the Community Days in January and February, each separately sold for $ 0 Cost $ 99.
