Digital Foundry teaches how to activate 60 fps in Skyrim and Fallout 4 on Xbox Series X | S.
Christmas is here and if many of us offer exceptional video games, it is because Digital Foundry has done the same with their Xbox Series X | S. Experience brings good news if you have one of the two machines and Skyrim O Fallout 4, the ability to activate 60fps. We also warn you that Skyrim is part of the catalog of Xbox Game Pass for console so there are no excuses for not trying the trick.

In the case of Skyrim, you will need to go to the mods menu and find the Uncap FPS mod and download it. To activate the mod, you will need to return to the game, press the Xbox button to access the Start menu, close the game and re-enter. Both in Xbox Series X as Xbox Series S the game will hit 60fps the vast majority of the time. An additional fact is that although the video game does not have native HDR, these two consoles allow you to enjoy it with Auto HDR.
In the case of Fallout 4 you will have to look for the 720p 60fps mod, taking the video game to also reach 60fps on both machines and in the case of Xbox Series X add native 4K resolution. The only problem is that Xbox Series S using the Xbox One S settings will cause the game to go down to 720p, which of course makes downloading the mod less appealing on this machine.
