The annual Steam winter sale is now on the way – and thus, Vote for the Steam Awards On sale through Tuesday, January 5th at 1:00 p.m. EST and, as usual, offers significant discounts on big names and recent releases.
At the moment there are dozen (if not thousands) of games for $ 10 or less and more that are offered up to 75% off list price. That includes Ark: survival evolved at $ 9.99 (originally $ 49.99), Age of Empires 2: Definitive edition (half discount at $ 9.99), Far Cry New Dawn at $ 9.99 (down from $ 39.99) and Guard dogs 2 at $ 9.99 (usually $ 49.99).
More special offers lock in Ace fight: Heaven unknown at $ 19.79 (down from $ 59.99); Horizon Zero Dawn Complete edition at $ 39.99 ($ 10 off), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (GOTY Edition) at $ 38.99 (35% off) and Death stranding at the $ 29.99 (half discount).
For the 2020 Steam Awards, Valve picked five nominees in 10 different categories, and not all of the nominees are games launched in 2020. Categories range from “Great Visual Style” to “Best Game You Suck On” and the game from Competitors of the Year include the 2018s Red Dead Redemption 2 and 2019 Death Stranding – although that came to Steam in July 2020. Voting is open until January 3 at 12:00 PM EST.
