At The Game Awards gala, The Initiative, part of the Microsoft studio conglomerate, revealed Perfect Dark. The title they are currently working on has raised high expectations thanks to all the information that has been confirmed in recent months.
We have long known that the study recruits the best talent in the industry and today we want to bring you a visual test of what this team is capable of doing. One of The Initative’s designers worked on a futuristic setting inspired by Cyberpunk 2077.
The talent of the Initiative
We can see in the attached video what this recreation of Cyberpunk 2077 looks like if it had been developed with the Unreal Engine. It’s important to note that you are using the current version of the Epic Games engine, so here are all the new tech that could be used if Unreal Engine 5 was used.
Not to mention that the resolution used for this small fragment is reproduced at 4K and at rates of 60 frames per second.
Here you have the same video but in play, since the previous one was a route through the visit of the city. In case I haven’t said it before, this is a recreation made by one person, and it is not a game although it is “playable” in a way.
The Unreal Engine graphics engine is now available for free download from the Epic Games Store. If you want to know more about this program, you might be interested to know that a fan created a black hole thanks to his knowledge of quantum theory.
