The OPPO Reno 5 range It was officially presented in December, two models in the middle and the Reno 5 Pro + last week. Failing to know when these phones will be launched in Europe, the manufacturer leaves us a new phone in this range: the OPPO Reno 5 4G, which it formalized in Vietnam.

This new OPPO Reno 5 4G is the simplest model in the range, which unlike the rest of the models, comes with 4G connectivity. A phone in the mid-range, with good specs in this segment, which retains some of the key aspects of this family.

The OPPO Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro are the Chinese brand’s new mid-range phones, arriving with 5G connectivity and four cameras.

A new version with 4G

El OPPO Reno 5 4G retains the design we saw in the 5G model a few weeks ago. 6.43 inch AMOLED display, with one hole and 90Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming. One of the differences is the front camera in said hole, which in this model happens to be 44 Mpx.

The main novelty of this phone is the presence of 4G connectivity, instead of the 5G we have seen in the other models. The processor chosen in this case is Snapdragon 720G. It’s a good mid-range chip, gaming oriented, like its screen. With the processor, a unique combination of RAM and storage, as well as a battery capacity of 4310 mAh. In this case, the charging is a little slower, 50W, compared to 65W of the model with 5G.

The rear cameras of this OPPO Reno 5 4G haven’t changed either, as it maintains the same module with all four cameras: Main sensor 64 Mpx, a wide angle 8 Mpx, a macro sensor 2 Mpx and a depth sensor 2 Mpx also. As in the original model, the fingerprint sensor is located under the panel.

Price and availability

This new OPPO Reno 5 4G was presented in Vietnam, which is currently the only country where it can be booked. Nothing is known about its launch in other countries, but we hope to have more information about it soon. The phone is launched in a single version of RAM and storage in the colors blue and black.

This model is launched at a price of 8,990,000 Vietnamese dong, approximately 315 dollars to change.
