Xbox Director Phil Spencer has offered various press conferences in recent weeks to promote all things Microsoft console and to promote the recent launch of Series X / S. Precisely, in an interview published a few days ago at hardly, explained the plan developed around xCloud, Microsoft’s game streaming service, which will be much more accessible in 2021.
In a recent interview with The Verge, Phil spencer was asked about the possibility of an Xbox streaming app for televisions, to which he replied, “I think you’ll see it in the next 12 months.” This response is a sign that Microsoft plans to expand its xCloud streaming platform in 2021, and not just limit itself to Android devices.
The tech giant has been on the subject of TV streaming for quite some time now, and Microsoft’s latest attempt resulted in a canceled Xbox-branded TV device, much like a Chromecast. However, due to the prevalence of smart TVs today, a single app would be more than enough. Microsoft already has an association ofxCloud with Samsung, so we can expect TVs from the Korean brand to have access first.
Likewise, Microsoft has also revealed plans to bring xCloud to iPhone and iPad via browser streaming. Likewise, work is underway to integrate xCloud streaming into Windows 10, a feature that Microsoft says should be available on PC very soon.
While xCloud’s growth is inevitable, Spencer has made it clear that he has no plans to phase out gaming hardware entirely. Instead, the Xbox’s approach is a “hybrid environment,” in which to coexist at both cloud and local IT capacity.
Cloud titles are always surrounded by questions, so Microsoft has focused on perfecting this technology and positioned itself ahead of other giants such as Google the Amazon.
The use of the cloud has enabled the development of various actions. Nowadays, it is possible to create native applications, store data, create backup copies, perform streaming, integrate intelligence, among others. As requested Víctor Paredes, editor-in-chief of Comparahosting, the use of the cloud to store information is increasingly popular.
“Cloud hosting or cloud hosting is a very popular modality among those looking to save money when starting their websites. Its ease of use and the high stability it offers make it a more than interesting option, compared to the types of dedicated and shared hosting ”, specifies the specialist.
