One of the most important news of this year was the acquisition of Bethesda Studios. Recently, the head of the Xbox video games division told the Larry Hub podcast about how he was when he proposed to Microsoft executives the idea of buying ZeniMax studios.

Once again, the head of Xbox has abandoned the podcast presented by Larry Hub and in which he commented that the incorporation of all ZeniMax studios will be formalized in the first months of 2021. Until the time comes, the employer will not make any decisions about which IP addresses will run exclusively for Xbox Game Studios. As the show progressed, Spencer commented on when he pitched this great idea to senior Microsoft bosses when the division and company started to move forward:
Another thing I want to talk about is the support the company, Microsoft, gave us when we pitched the idea to CEO Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood. We went over there and said, “We have this idea…”. Our business is doing well, the division is profitable, the business is growing, they have great faith in Xbox, otherwise they wouldn’t have given the green light for an acquisition of this magnitude. We did the meeting Monday and Sunday night, I couldn’t sleep, I was nervous, I was anxious, I was excited. Then we had to stay silent, but it was nice to see the reactions from Xbox fans
