Cyberpunk 2077 was released in poor conditions and has since been the subject of numerous rumors about what happened internally and what content may have been removed from the title. Given the size some of them are, CD Projekt has decided to respond.
Rumors from the studio denied mainly from a Reddit post, in which the author claims to have knowledge of certain things related to Cyberpunk 2077. He states that his sources evoke 50,000 deleted lines of dialogue, many newly written or temporarily withdrawn quests and locked buildings that should be accessible. According to the author, CD Projekt also had a plan “à la No Man’s Sky” and would take care of it Rewrite part of the code until June 2021. The studio refutes all of this via a simple tweet, but still very clear:
