The lockdown in Germany has been extended again, so one or the other needs more game fodder. So the next offer in the Epic Games Store comes in handy: You will soon be able to secure a real Star Wars hit for free!
After the Christmas campaign with a whopping 15 free full PC versions, the Epic Games Store is back in the normal rhythm as far as the offers are concerned. In other words: every Thursday evening, week after week, there is one, sometimes two free PC games for you.
From now on it is the rather unknown title Crying Suns, a mix of role-playing game, strategy game and rogue-like. You take on the role of a fleet commander, a clone of Admiral Elly’s Idaho, and you must explore a mysteriously fallen empire. The game is inspired by the sci-fi brands “Dune” and “Foundation” and each game should be different. The game universe is procedurally – i.e. randomly – generated and offers battles between battleships and entire fleets of spaceships that take place differently. There are over 300 possible story events and six plot chapters.
Sounds interesting? The real highlight of this news is the offer for the coming week, which has now also been confirmed. You can look forward to Star Wars: Battlefront II from EA – a real, well-known blockbuster. If you have not yet played the action game, you will get the unique, free opportunity to do so in the Celebration Edition next Thursday.
This version of the game contains all kinds of cosmetic items that were previously available for in-game purchase, including some items inspired by “The Rise of Skywalker”. All free content from the two years since the original release is directly on board.
