Following the information we published yesterday on the new generation of iPad and iPad Pro, the Japanese site Macotakara today brings some additional details on the iPad Pro. According to the site we can expect a renewal for the month of March which will benefit from the same design with two small exceptions.
Mini-LED display on 12.9 “model and camera modifications
The renewal of the iPad Pro will require an internal update of the components, as well as an evolution of the screen technology. As for the components, we can almost say that the new iPad Pro will arrive with an A14 or A14X processor.; In terms of design, if we pay attention to the rumors that have been popping up lately, we will see the arrival of Apple’s first Mini-LED display.
This screen would only arrive in the 12.9 inch model, which Macotakara agrees with, and also adds that due to this change this model will be 0.5 millimeters thicker than the current model. The 11-inch iPad Pro, meanwhile, will keep its current size and won’t feature a Mini-LED display.
What will change in the 11-inch iPad Pro is the camera module, which, like its older brother, will reduce its prominence slightly. The module will still protrude from the overall chassis, but the individual lenses will be aligned with the main module.
Finally, the media report certain changes in the design of the speakers. Apparently the new generation of iPad Pro reduce the number of speaker holes by two thirds and rearrange their position, although for the moment we do not know more details.
For now, we have to wait for the official announcement of Apple to confirm the various rumors and developments of the new iPad Pro… An expectation which, scheduled for launch in March, should be short.
