How does this new YouTube work for iOS and iPadOS?
A new feature introduced by Google in its official YouTube app for iPhone and iPad has come in the form of a toolbar with unique tags. These labels appear on top of to feed of YouTube news and basically work like filters.
The default tag is "Everyone" but YouTube users can choose other tags such as "Today", "Continue Viewing", "Direct" or "No Viewing", among others, to better manage the content of the channels to Subscribers.
As reported by Google, these filters have helped subscribers to quickly see news and updates to their subscriptions. But if you are unhappy with these issues it is fine, because filtering does not require good use, you can continue to see your content as you used to without having to start filtering.
You can download and / or update the official YouTube app on both iOS and iPadOS for free in the App Store.
What do you think of this new YouTube feature to manage your subscriptions more easily and freely? Did you get a chance to try filtering? See you in the comments!
