Xiaomi has just made official the Redmi Note 9T, a new member of the already extended Redmi Note 9 range. In this case, the company commits to a model with 5G connectivity and slight design improvements, aside from updated hardware.
So let’s see what they are the price and specifications of this new Redmi Note 9T, a model which attempts to conquer the mid-range and which will find rivals within the brand itself.

Integrated MediaTek processor
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T comes from the hand of a MediaTek Dimensity 800U, the Chinese company’s mid-range 5G platform. This processor comes with 4 GB of RAM and configurations between 64 and 128 GB of internal memory. There is no possibility to download up to 6 GB of RAM, a decision that collides in a terminal that has conquered the mid-range.

The screen is LCD, with 6.53 inches and a refresh rate of 60Hz, far from the 120Hz of some of its brothers. The battery, like in practically all Xiaomi, is quite generous, with 5000 mAh and a fast charge of 18 W. Xiaomi promises that this battery will withstand many cycles, given its longer lifespan.
Finally, it should be noted that this terminal has 5G connectivity both SA and NSA, as well as USB C, NFC, infrared and the possibility of Dual SIM.
Less photographic versatility
Dropping the telephoto lens is common in the mid-range, but the Redmi Note 9T also renounces the ultra wide angle. In this case we find a main sensor from 48 megapixels, a macro from 2 megapixels and a depth sensor with two more megapixels. Regarding the front camera, there is a single 13 megapixel sensor.

In this model the front camera is perforated, so we did not find any notches. The photographic versatility of its siblings in this price range will be missed, as they all have an ultra wide angle.
