IPads are just a few months away from receiving a major update to their entire lineup. From iPad Pro to iPad Mini, almost all models will have their own renovation. The iPad Air, which received its most recent evolution last September, will be the only one that seems to be left out, for the peace of mind of its buyers.
Is that the case, ipad mini
As for its design, it will remain fairly conservative. It will keep the Touch ID on the front of the device, although this does reduce the bezels of the screen to look more like the third-generation iPad Air. Thanks to this reduction, the screen of the device would reach 8.4 inches.
However, when it comes to connections, we would still have a Lightning port. Therefore, the Apple Pencil compatible with this iPad Mini could still be the first generation. It seems a bit odd that at this point they are still thinking about releasing new models with this connectivity, at least in a line where USB-C is catching on.
As for other specs and pricing, there aren’t too many details yet. Not even about the chip I could use it wouldn’t be surprising if he used an A14, just like the iPad Air. We just know that, if all goes well, we should be able to see its presentation next March, accompanying the renewal of the iPad and iPad Pro.
