The Microsoft Flight Simulator mainly focuses on civil aviation. Anyone who still wants to take off in a military aircraft can do so in January 2021 thanks to an addon to do. Then the third party developer wants DC Designs die F-15 Eagle integrate into the game. The video from YouTuber ObsidianAnt already gives you a first insight.
What can the F-15 do in the game?
You will be able to fly the F-15 in variants C, D, E and I, but with some deductions. Because although the aircraft has some weapons that you can also select manually, it is rather unlikely that you will be able to use them in the game.
There are also some compromises in airspeed. The F-15 is a supers onic fighter, but the game itself does not have a flight model that supports such high speeds. That is why the hunter in the game flies at a maximum of Mach 1. In reality, however, he can accelerate up to Mach 2.5.
There is not yet an exact release date for the new aircraft. So far it is only known that the team at DC Designs is still there in January 2021
The F-15 add-on for the Flight Simulator should then be available in the corresponding Microsoft Store of the game. The jet fighter will be priced up about 35 Euros amount, while there are also upgrade options: Those who already own earlier F-15 models for older flight simulators only have to pay around 12 dollars. That betrayed DC Designs on the official Facebook page.
