Cadence of Hyrule proposes to discover the concept of the crypt of the NecroDancer under the legendary license from Nintendo. Players take on the role of Link or Zelda in randomly generated environments inspired by the Zelda universe. The exploration takes place in the rhythm of 25 pieces of music from different Zelda, which were remixed for the occasion. Bestiary side, all enemies of the history of the license are present.

Cadence of Hyrule should be a brisk and enjoyable ride. The least we can say is that we were not disappointed. Its sublime soundtrack and fine pixel art almost make us forget its relatively short lifespan. It even exceeds our expectations by approaching a traditional Zelda in terms of game design. Proof that the Nintendo licenses that we hold dear got a lot of it from getting through the hands of independent studios. Hopefully the publisher will continue in this direction and enable other talented developers to reclaim such prestigious sagas. How about a 2D Metroid in the hands of Team Cherry (Hollow Knight)? We have the right to dream …
