LG shows its roll-up mobile in video

One of the most anticipated mobiles in Europe in 2021 This is LG’s first roll-up mobile. In recent weeks, some data on this device has already been leaked, but now its existence is confirmed. The brand hosted its own event at virtual CES 2021 and showed the first video of this roll-up phone.

El LG Rollable, which is the name of this device, is shown for the first time in a video. A device that promises to be the most innovative on the market, with a very interesting system that allows its screen to roll up. At the moment, the brand does not confirm when it will be officially presented.

LG Wing analysis: a mobile designed entirely for multitasking

We spent two weeks using one of the most unique mobiles of 2020, the LG Wing with two screens, one of which is rotating.

The LG Rollable can be seen in video

This new LG Rollable will feature a flexible OLED display, which will remain coiled inside the device, until the user presses the button that will unroll it. When this button is pressed and the screen is unrolled, the screen area is enlarged, allowing more tasks to be performed on the screen. It is a good way to multitask on this device.

In this video, you can see this first advance of the device, where we can see that the phone is fully open, but then closes as if it were a blind, shrinking its sides. When closed, it ends in a smartphone format, with a panel of about 6.4 inches, according to previous leaks.

An aspect of great interest in this case is that the screen is not divided, as in folding, for example. This allows you to enjoy the entire panel without interruption. In addition, this LG Rollable is presented as a device of normal thickness, less thick than the foldable devices.

It is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of this year, especially after the surprise of Wing, its dual-screen phone. Both models are included in Project Explorer, the area of the brand’s experimental models. It is not known at the moment when this LG Rollable will hit the market (rumors point to the second half of the year), nor what price it will have.
