A galaxy far away has just received a very important update to its operation. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order already has a patch that implements various enhancements for next-gen consoles, as announced by EA.
PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are the machines that will benefit from these additions, since the game is backwards compatible with all of them. The improvements, in general, are the following:
- Improved frame rate on Xbox Series X / S and PS5.
- Improved dynamic resolution ranges for higher resolution on Xbox Series X / S and PS5.
- Improved post-processing resolution for Xbox Series X and PS5.
Now we go there with the specifications for each console:
Xbox Series X
- The frame rate has been increased to 60 FPS.
- Added dynamic resolution in the range of 1080p to 1440p
- Post-processing has been increased to 4K.
- Dynamic resolution in the range of 1512p to 2160p.
Xbox Series S
- The frame rate has been increased to 60 FPS (instead of 45 FPS).
PlayStation 5
- The frame rate has been increased to 60 FPS (instead of 45 FPS).
- Post-processing increased to 1440p.
- Dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game is playing at 1200p (instead of 810-1080p).
The best thing is that all versions work at 60 FPS, so we can enjoy all the powers of Cal Kestis on the move. Just yesterday it was announced that all Star Wars games will be released in the future under the Lucasfilm Games label. On the other hand, if you want to enjoy a mod from The Mandalorian in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, do not hesitate and take advantage.
