Motion Twin and Evil empire announced that the next DLC of Fatal falls is set for release on January 26 and will be available for $ 4.99 on PC and consoles. This is the 22nd major update from the winner Dead cells and only the second paid DLC since the game launched in Early Access in 2017.
Winner and nominated for dozens of Game of the Year 2018 awards, Dead cells East a critically acclaimed title. A roguelite Metroidvania action platformer set in an unpredictable castle laden with dark secrets, decisive items and hordes of deadly beasts. This exciting news is complemented by a gameplay trailer. Reveal twisted new enemies, elusive weapons, and two all-new biomes.
Dead Cells continues to grow
The DLC Fatal falls introduces a significant amount of new content for fans, including two new mid-game biomes, a new deadly boss, and a host of new weapons and items. Gameplay trailer released today showcases new biomes, fractured shrines and immortal shores. In addition to the all-new boss: The Scarecrow, which fans may recognize as the Royal Gardener Infected with Evil.
The two new biomes run parallel to the Pueblo de Pilotes, Torre del Reloj and El Guardián del Tiempo areas and their goal is to alternate paths to make your trajectory more interesting in the middle of the game.. Along with these new routes, fans can expect to encounter a deadly pet sword. (Why not?). And with new, slightly psychotic foes like the Nearsighted Crow, Clumsy Swordsman, Compulsive Entrepreneur, and many more (eight in all). All this, until reaching the final boss: the scarecrow. Ah! And you should be on the lookout for those mushrooms that explode when you meet him.
And what’s an update without new weapons? Fatal Falls has a new maniacal sword (did we mention it flies?) for brutality players to take on the Great Owl and Mushroom Boy. Scythes have also been added to the game. Without a doubt the most representative weapons that exist, they are attracted to enemies and will follow you for a while.
Seven new weapons are featured in this DLC: Lightning Rod, Boatman’s Lantern, Scarecrow’s Sickles, Iron Staff, Serpent’s Fangs, Serenade and Chrysalis. Each will help you in different areas of the two new biomes. And because we want you to feel comfortable AND look good, the update also includes a total of 10 new costumes.
