If you own the game on Steam, you will not be able to move on.
If you want to play the level of Hitman 2 in the upcoming “Hitman 3”, you must purchase Killer 3 Access pass.
This is based on a post on the developer’s IO Interactive website, which says that since Hitman 2 was never released on the Epic Games Store, you must purchase these additional content again. “Hitman 3 Access Pass” enjoys an 80% discount, and the pass will run for 14 days after it is issued on January 20.
IO admitted that it was unable to follow the original plan, which appeared to enable users to transfer their progress from Steam to the Epic Games Store. Sadly, this has not been resolved. By August 2020, it has been confirmed that “Hitman 3” will be used exclusively in the Fortnite manufacturer’s storefront for 12 months.
IO said: “We have done everything possible to make this process smooth and friendly to players.”
“However, due to various circumstances beyond our control, we would like to admit that the process is different from our original plan for PC players. We also want to share some of the plans we have made to ensure that PC players have the opportunity to continue to enjoy the benefits of the assassination world .”
“Hitman 3” is about to be released in five days and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia. This is on top of the cloud version of Nintendo Switch released on the same day.
