New year, new chapter. After the Dark Heart of Skyrim has been completed, a New Year’s event in The Elder Scroll Online in 2021. However, the disclosure has now been postponed.

The new annual event of The Elder Scrolls Online is called Gates of Oblivion and the name alone should make some fan hearts pound. Its unveiling was supposed to take place on January 21, but this date has now been postponed. But don’t panic, you don’t have to wait months, just a few days, because January 26th has been set as the new date. The reason is that they did not want to get in the way of the inauguration of the new US President Joe Biden, which will certainly dominate the media (hopefully positively).

The Elder Scrolls Online Worldwide Unveiling Event for 2021 begins on Tuesday, January 26th at 11 p.m. CET live on Twitch.tv/Bethesda_DE. ZeniMax Online Studio Director Matt Firor and Bethesda Softwork Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications Pete Hines want to introduce you to what you can expect in 2021. Other members of the ESO team will be there to chat about the new worlds, challenges, systems and adventures.
