There is a Free Play Days promotion on the Xbox this weekend and in addition to two other games, you can have fun in Star Wars: Squadrons for free.
At the moment, everything revolves around Star Wars and the process of EA exclusivity for the license. A pretty good time to start some action around the Star Wars universe. At Epic Games there is currently Star Wars: Battlefront 2 as a free goodie and you can now enjoy yourself for free on the Xbox.

As part of a free-play weekend, you can play EA’s space shooter Star Wars: Squadrons for free and swing behind the wheel of iconic spaceships and let the lasers boom. The prerequisite for this, however, are Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate. The offer is of course valid on Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S and starts today and runs until January 17th at 9 a.m.
In addition to Star Wars: Squadrons, there are two other games that you can play for free, namely Dragon Ball FighterZ and Yooka-Laylee. If you don’t know exactly what Star Wars: Squadrons is about, you can of course take our test again.
Star Wars: Squadrons has a lot going for it. A full single player campaign, gripping multiplayer battles and all in VR. But is it also fun?
