Change the appearance of Cyberpunk 2077 through this module with the theme of Borderlands.
If it’s not an off-road vehicle or asset flow issue, Cyberpunk 2077 It looks really good, especially on a powerful PC. If you don’t pursue super-realistic visual effects, there is a way to make the game more interesting.
Salmo, the creator of the mod, has released a new mod with a seemingly simple task: transform the visual style of Cyberpunk 2077 into Borderlands. The artificial cel shadow appearance adds black borders to models and objects, which greatly changes the appearance of the game.
Borderlandfy2077 relies on the popular Reshade tool, which is essentially an engine for adjusting the visual effects of the game, and its functions are beyond the scope of official support. These can be anything from outdated filters to more important upgrades (such as adding sharpening and fixing other defects).
The Borderlands mod only uses the depth buffer (Z buffer) to add a border to the image and adjusts the contrast to mimic the appearance of Borderlands. According to Salmo, although the image may be darker, you should not expect to have a huge impact on performance by using it.
Assuming you have the latest version of Reshade, you should go ahead and get Borderlandfy2077 from Nexus Mods, where you will also find the complete installation instructions. If you are curious about the final result, you can turn off the above video from Slothability.
