Starting January 23, at Fortnite we celebrate soccer. Players will be able to find outfits from their favorite global team with the “Auction Set”; In addition, they will be able to get the new Gesture “Pelé’s Celebration” inspired by the classic celebration of the legendary star player, Pelé.
Auction Set
Choose between 10 different variants of male or female outfits and represent your favorite club in the game. Each outfit can be changed to represent any of the 23 soccer clubs around the world that we have partnered with. The clubs include:
Pelé Celebration Gesture
We partnered with legendary Brazilian superstar Pelé to bring his iconic celebration to the game. Celebrate your Victoria Campal like Pelé did 1,282 times in his career. The emote will be available in the Item Shop on January 23.
In addition, players will be able to participate in the Pelé Cup, on January 20, to try to win the “Pelé Celebration” Gesture and the “Auction Set”. The best places in the Cup will also be able to enter by winning a personalized signed shirt. The official rules of the Pelé Cup are available here.
Play your own soccer tournament in Creative Mode
Players will be able to visit the new soccer-inspired Creative Island, where they will use their bodies, pickaxes and other power-ups to score more than their opponents. The mode is 4-player and each game has two rounds.
