Due to the large number of streamers including Shroud, XQc and Myth playing games on Offline TV servers, Rust’s popularity has surged in the past few weeks. This has also made the game one of the best-selling games on Steam, even among the top ten on Steam in the past two weeks.
Facepunch first introduced Rust to Steam Early Access in 2013, and its 1.0 version was launched in early 2018. On XO19, Facepunch revealed that Rust is about to be released on PS4 and Xbox One, taking into account the 2020 release date.
