There has been a lot going on in Fortnite in the past few weeks, also thanks to many cross-over actions. Is the next one already on the plan?
Just yesterday, Epic Games announced a new event in Fortnite that brings various skins from well-known football clubs into the game, as well as a football mode in creative mode. Before that, the long-running battle royale drew attention to itself, preferably most recently with various cross-over promos with numerous well-known game brands – and one of these could now be in our house again.
After, for example, the Master Chief from the Halo series or Kratos from God of War, cult character Lara Croft could now find his way into Fortnite. Dataminer Mang0e has found corresponding clues to the Tomb Raider protagonist and has now detailed it via Twitter.
A new crossover skin, “Typhoon” will arrive soon.
Info:
– The skin will be female
– The skin might have reactive styles
– It’s portal seems to have a custom “flicker” effectPortal Image via @ximton <3 pic.twitter.com/hTEpHwveU6

There is a female skin with the code name Typhoon, which is apparently already being prepared in the background by Epic Games. But why should it be Lara Croft of all people? After all, the character doesn’t come directly into play in the lines of code.
The answer to this is very simple: the Tomb Raider Twitter account has put a few emojis in a message in a tight timeframe. You can see a woman with a pickaxe and a bow and arrow. The community understands this as a clear reference to Fortnite, especially since it fits well with the current Chapter 5 in Fortnite: Chapter 2, which brought numerous characters from other brands with it and could be expanded accordingly.
