Destiny 2 players can look forward to a “Status of Destiny 2021” update for next season, reveals assistant director Joe Blackburn.
Blackburn took to Twitter to discuss Destiny’s future direction. In addition to revealing that players can expect to see an upcoming state of play update in Season 13, Blackburn also teases that “2021 is going to be a bit different for Destiny.”
“Last year, I said that the best days of Destiny are yet to come. Seeing what is coming, I believe this more than ever, ”writes Blackburn. “But we have work to do to get there. 2021 will be a bit different for Destiny. We will take some time to validate our plans, but we look forward to a Destiny Status 2021 next season. ”

Currently, in the Season of the Hunt, which will end on February 9, Bungie has already revealed some of the changes that will occur next season. In the most recent update for This Week at Bungie, he provided an overview of the team changes that will take place in Season 13. Based on feedback since the launch of Destiny 2: Beyond the Light, the next season will reissue the Dream City and Moon loot with improved drop rates and new perks to boot. This comes after it was revealed that Destiny 2 would put an end to more than 20 legendary weapons.
An overview of the fixes included in the latest patch was also included in the latest update, which has since been added to the game. The Destiny 2 3.0.2 update addresses a number of bug fixes, including an exploit in Deep Stone Crypt in Beyond the Light. But, despite this fix, gamers have already managed to find a new exploit.
