Good news for the players of Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. It has been shared that a new update will arrive in early February and will fix the issue affecting item cards.
We have identified an issue in the January 14 update for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 (Version 1.1.0) where Item Cards aren’t activating their special effects during matches.
We’re currently working on a fix for this to be deployed in early February, and apologize for any inconvenience.

It’s about the version 1.1.1, although there are no patch notes available yet. This is the message they have shared:
Fixed an issue where item cards did not activate their special effects during games.
At the moment the specific day of launch of this aprche has not been shared, but we will stay tuned to inform you of any news that arises in this regard.
