The world of GI Joe, Hasbro’s kid-friendly line of military toys (and the last line of defense against the terrorist organization Cobra), is now in Fourteen days.
GI Joes GI Joes Snake Eyes is the latest hero to join the Battle Royale game from Epic Games, including Din Djarin and Grogu (also known as The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda), Master Chief of Halo, Kratos from God of War and Sarah Connor and the T-800 from Terminator.
Epic teased the addition of GI Joe characters on Thursday as chief creative officer Donald Mustard tweeted a picture of himself Reading a collection of vintage Marvel GI Joe comics. Specifically, Mustard read Marvel’s issue # 21 GI Joewhere Snake Eyes embarks on a rescue mission in a Cobra castle. This issue shows Snake Eyes jumping out of a C-130 plane Fourteen days Where-we-fall-boys style.
Fourteen daysThe current season is all about heroes from near and far. Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fourteen days features a story arc called Zero Point that focuses on Agent Jones’ mission to summon hunters from realities beyond Epic’s game.
The current incarnation of GI Joe, rooted in toy ownership from 1982, has been studied in cartoons, comics, video games, and live-action films over the past four decades. A new game GI Joe: Operation Blackoutwas released in October after a lukewarm reaction. A new live-action film focusing on the silent ninja Snake Eyes starring Henry Golding is slated for release in 2022.
