While we have to wait longer for the new Halo Infinite, the creator of the original title is now devoting himself to another project, namely disintegration. This is also a sci-fi shooter by Marcus Lehto, who is now on the road with his new development team V1 Interactive. The title is due to be published by Take-Two Interactive's private division, but before that there is an initial test phase.
The Closed Technical Beta for the multiplayer part of Disintegration was announced in a press release today. This should be carried out equally on all supported platforms, i.e. PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The first two test runs take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, January 28, 2020 | 5:00 p.m. to 8:59 a.m. the next day
- Wednesday, 29 january, 2020 | 5:00 p.m. to 8:59 a.m. the next day
If you want to have the chance to take part in these two test phases, you can now go to the official website register for the technical beta, If you don't get a train, you don't have to worry about it for long: From January 31 to February 01, an open beta will then be held on all platforms. As in the closed test phase before, you can also try out two of the three multiplayer modes of the finished game.
The first available mode is called "Retrieval" and lets you compete against each other in two rounds. One team has to deliver a cargo through its ground forces, while the other team is responsible for defense.
In the second mode, "Control", two teams fight to control multiple capture points. You have to make sure that your ground forces survive and stay in the zone. This is the only way to collect points and win the match.
