The studio is looking for interesting points to tell the story.
EA’s BioWare studio once worked on Mass Effect Derived from more morally gloomy characters such as “Han Solo” from “Star Wars”.
Dorian Kieken, the studio’s development director at the time, said in an interview with Gamer that after the first “Mass Effect” title was released in 2007 The series of future works try new concepts.
“We released the game concept as early as 2008, [the first] I’m a person playing a Han Solo-type role in a game inspired by interstellar control in the Mass Effect universe,” Kieken said.
“This game is designed to expand the Mass Effect universe and simultaneously [with] Trilogy. “
He continued: “I like to explore the idea of a’comedy’ character similar to the smuggler/pirate type in the ME universe. It also allows you to see the world from a different perspective than the super soldier you choose. It’s a bit like in the absence of Explore the Star Wars universe without the Jedi Knight, or explore the Warhammer 40k universe without Space Warrior.
“I think a character with a “comedy” genre is defined as inconsistent with the good or bad guys in the universe, and is not affiliated with major factions such as pirates. This gives you unprecedented exploration capabilities and is the savior of the galaxy. Consider it because of a mercenary. Or the prototype of a smuggler, your story in a TV series (such as The Mandalorian or Firefly) is free.”
Remastered versions of the first three “Mass Effect” games will be released as “Legends of Mass Effect” on May 14. In our preview, we said that this may be one of the sharpest revisions in video games, but we don’t have much expectations for changes in gameplay.
