Earlier this month, Bethesda pull out a huge pool of Doom a DoOM II across platforms including Change.
In case you forgot, this hellish update introduced additional support – including John Romero's unconventional support for the SIGIL 60fps feature, rate options, instant save and load, quality selection, "and tone" quality of life features and optimization.
Now John Linneman has decided to look at how both games work and says he is "one of the most important game reviewers" tested during his time at Digital Foundry.
He goes on to say how developers have used almost every issue and notes how the game has gone from disappointing to worthwhile. See for yourself in the video above, and let us know in the comments when you're back from these old games in Switch from the update.
