When an evil company threatens nature and humanity, it is time for Mother Nature to strike back in a bloody campaign in search of personal redemption.
in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earth Blood, available from today Xbox Series X | S. and Xbox OneYou play Cahal, an exiled werewolf. While he certainly looks like the wild, classic horror movie monster you know and love, he’s not a villain, on the contrary. In the world of darkness our game is set in, werewolves are a force of nature, warriors defending the earth against the corrupting influence of the Wrym, a spirit of destruction and chaos. Through the industrial might of Endron, a major oil and gas company, the Wrym is altering the balance of nature and threatening the way of life of your family, tribe and humanity. Now is the time to fight back with whatever you have.
As a fierce fighter, you can transform into three different forms, each with their own unique abilities:
- The werewolf or “crinos” form: A crinos is the ultimate fighting machine, a towering animal capable of devastating acts of carnage. This powerful, aggressive form is at the heart of our action-oriented gameplay. Alternate between heavy and agile posture and adapt to the different situations that are presented to you. Use these to break your enemies’ guard or dodge incoming projectiles. Use special movements to run around or do massive damage to those around you. Meanwhile, as you build up your frenzy, and once that ad boils over, you can unleash that anger, get faster, stronger, and string together even more deadly attacks. However, during this time you cannot block or perform any special movements.
- The human or “homid” form: This is the go-to place for social interactions and story progression. In this form, you can hack computers, perform silent shutdowns, or use your trusted crossbow to remotely pick up enemies or (with a specific upgrade) disable electrical systems.
- The wolf or “lupus” shape: The wolf shape gives you speed and agility, and helps you navigate the world. You can crawl through vents and quickly shoot back and forth between the lids to avoid being spotted by the guards. This is especially useful when you are trying to take out some enemies before a big fight, or when you are trying to skip the fight entirely.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earth Blood is now available for Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One available. If you buy the Day One Edition digitally, you can also get both the digital Xbox One version and the digital Xbox Series X | Download the S version of this game.
