Exciting news about Microsoft’s flagship racing game Forza Horizon 4: the title will soon be available via Steam for the first time and has exciting features.
Forza Horizon 4 will be the first title in the racing game series to be released for PC on Steam. Creative Director Mike Brown has now confirmed this on Xbox Wire. The open-world racing game will celebrate its debut on March 9th. In addition to the main game itself, the Fortune Island and Lego Speed Champions expansions will also be offered. In addition, three Car Packs will also be available on Steam, namely Best of Bond, the Barret Jackson Pack and the newly announced Hot Wheels Legends Pack, which however has no specific release date yet.
At the same time, it was confirmed that Forza Horizon 4 will also support cross-play between Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Windows 10, xCloud and Steam in the future – without any restrictions.
So good news for racing game fans. Microsoft, on the other hand, seems to be consistently pursuing the path of selling its own titles on other platforms apart from the Xbox Store and Windows Store. Some time ago, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Sea of Thieves were released on Steam. There are currently teasers about another platform for the Master Chief Collection, many of which are based on the Epic Games Store.
