When we talk about the most anticipated video games that are based on the world of anime, without a doubt the first that comes to mind is ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan’.
The next CyberConnect2 title promises to take us on the adventure as a demon hunter, by embodying Tanjiro Kamado and the good news is that we already have a glimpse of what awaits us.
Thanks to the kimetsusai event that was held as part of the developer’s 25th anniversary, the first gameplay of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan’ is now available.
In it you will find the voice actors who play Tanjiro and Zenitsu, Natsuki Hanae and Hiro Shimono, testing the versus mode that allows you to compete in a 2 vs 2.
Each tests the abilities of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inusuke and Zenitsu in an immersive battle that sends you straight into the series produced by Ufotable.
With fluid movements that link a camera that rotates 360 degrees horizontally, the game stands out with the mechanics of changing characters.
They allow you to fight with both characters at the same time, defend the main with the secondary and prepare special attacks, such as using Nezuko’s demon blood.

Although the gameplay only showed us the versus mode, the Story mode is the most striking of the next CyberConnect2 title, as we transform into Tanjiro Kamado.
In a world where hunters and demons clash, you must go through the terrible events of the Kamado family, to swear allegiance to the organization and seek a cure for your younger sister.
Going through the great trials to become a demon hunter and fighting side by side alongside Nezuko, Inosuke and Zenitsu, you will experience how it feels to be in the shoes of the protagonist.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan will be available for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC in mid-2021 for Japan.
