When Sony announced the first State of Play of 2021, fans were expecting to see great new titles that would arrive on PS4 and PS5. Now, once the broadcast is over, we can say that the event was not what the fans expected and did not show many of the expected games.

In fact, some of the games that were taken for granted like the new installment of Ratchet & Clank and Horizon Forbidden West were not shown in this broadcast. Mind you, that’s not why there were some interesting titles that were shown with new trailers and release dates.

‘Crash Bandicoot 4’

Naugthy Dog’s beloved marsupial was shown taking advantage of its latest installment that came out a short time ago for PS4. The State of Play showed the first trailer of the version of the game for PS5 and the truth is that on a graphic level it looks incredible. This version will hit stores around the world on March 4, that is, there is only one week left.

‘The Returnal’

Housemarque shared a new trailer for his title ‘The Returnal’, it is loaded with death, so it reminds us of games like ‘Dark Souls’ and ‘Bloodbourne’. The trailer shows us that the game will mix action elements with a good dose of science fiction, resulting in a work that promises to be very attractive. The Returnal will go on sale on April 30, 2021.

‘Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade’

A few hours ago we informed you that Square Enix was very likely to reveal an improved version of ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’. Well, the rumor was true and the popular studio announced ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade’, an improved version that will feature a new DLC chapter that will star Yuffe. This version will go on sale on June 10, 2020, so there are just a few months to enjoy it.

Similarly, a version created only for PS5 will also go on sale next June 10 and it will come with graphic improvements and support for the DualSense controller.

‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach’

‘Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach’ has much more to offer and has been one of the main protagonists of Sony’s State of Play. Steel Wool Studios offered a two-minute trailer loaded with new details. The title does not yet have an official release date.

‘Oddworld: Soulstorm’

This was a surprise announcement for all fans of the Oddworld saga. Now we know that the new installment will arrive on April 6, 2021 for PS4 and PS5. An interesting detail is that those subscribers to PS Plus will be able to download it for free, a good incentive for players.

‘Kena: Bridge of Spirits’

A title that does not have millions of units sold, but that does not mean that it stops being a great proposal from its creators. Its trailer reminds us of classic 3D action titles, so it’s worth giving it a try.

‘DeathLoop’

This is a game that reminds us of classic James Bond movies and is the new creation of Bethesda and Arkane. The game will be a first-person adventure that looks quite interesting and despite the purchase of Bethesda by Microsoft, it will arrive first exclusively until 2022 on PS5.
