‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’ was one of the great titles of 2020, the long-awaited remastering that after many years of delay went on sale for PS4 was everything the fans expected. Now we have new rumors that indicate that a new update of this title would be presented today as part of Sony’s State of Play.
This new edition would be a definitive edition with all the contents of the game and would be called Ever Crisis. The information was revealed by the Reddit user u / MXHombre123 who shared a post in which an alleged press release is read.
This Ever Crisis version of Final Fantasy VII Remake would include additional features and graphical improvements that would be taken advantage of using the technology of PS5, Sony’s brand new console. Another novelty talks about support for the DualSense, two new chapters, new battle scenarios in the arena and a boss selection mode. Photo mode would also come to the game as well as new trophies that are always well received by PlayStation users.
Waiting for the State of play
The possible launch date of this edition would be April 10, 2021, so if the rumor were true, it would be very short to enjoy it. It is this date that generates more doubts regarding the launch as it is a Saturday, the date on which games do not go on sale and it is also the same date on which Final Fantasy VII Remake came out in 2020.
At the moment it only remains to wait a few hours to be able to enjoy Sony’s State of Play, the first of the year that will bring a total of 10 games within which it is expected to have new announcements, some already known and a few indie.
