When will the new iPad Air be released?

So far, the Pro part of the name has indicated that this is a feature only for premium Apple devices. But with so many Android smartphones already using this technology, we believe it may finally make its way to the iPad Air (2021).
Waterproofing
There are very few tablets with an IP68 waterproof rating. Samsung has had its Active Tab line in the past, while Amazon’s latest Kindle Paperwhite e-reader can survive a dip in the bathroom.
The current reality is that if your current iPad falls down the drain while trying to read a recipe, it has probably come to a bad end.
We’re not sure if the technical challenge of sealing an iPad-sized unit is the issue, but Apple has shown in the past that it’s always up for a design challenge.
With that in mind, we’d love to see the next iPad Air go waterproof, so it can survive the rain, the beach, or the common hazards of using it in the kitchen.
