Crystal Dynamics ha revealed through his blog that the new Marvel’s Avengers patch will serve to make some balance adjustments that the team deemed necessary. From the English study they reveal that the level rise has been a straight line since its launch, and now they want to make it an upward curve.

In this way, leveling up will cost more experience with each level, although this will only affect characters that are higher than 25 and lower than 50 (the maximum). From level 1 to 25 the experience required for each level will be the same, so these levels will rise quickly.

On the other hand, starting at 25, each level will ask for more and more experience, so the path to the highest level will be quite long. It’s hard to calculate right now, as the new requirements haven’t been revealed, but it’s clear that CD wants to make it harder to get to the higher levels.

On the other hand, the “power level” associated with each hero will not change, let’s say their power will be the same and the damage they can do to enemies is the same even if their level is more difficult to reach. A level 38 character, for example, will still have the same power, because players need not worry about that.

This measure is most likely to extend the experience of players who are reaching level 50 too quickly and there is no more to do after this achievement.

In addition, the skins and how to get them will no longer be random as they have been all this time. Now the missions will award virtual coins that can be exchanged for skins that will always be in the store instead of rotating.

Marvel’s Avengers is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Plus, the next gen version will premiere when Clint Barton arrives on March 18.
