First, let’s dive into the world of Close encounters. Harrison Wolf, the intrepid local DJ for Two Point County, has thoughts. Thoughts of a conspiracy wrapping around the town of Goldpan. This city recently saw a ball of fire over its sandy plains, and not everyone considers it a natural phenomenon. No, you see, Harrison thinks they’re aliens.

However, if you slide across the Two Point County map, you are in a completely different place. The sand dunes part and are replaced by a lush and green landscape of trees, oxygen and, damn it, hope! This is the setting of the Off the Grid expansion.
