Fletchling is featured in Pokémon GoCommunity Day on March 6th from 11am to 5pm in your local time.

As usual at Community Days, the featured Pokémon will appear in large numbers, with an increased chance of finding them shiny.

How do I find a Shiny Fletchling?

Since fletchling is popping up all over the place, just tap on each fletchling you see until you get a shiny. You’ll find one sooner or later as the Shiny rate increases to around one in 24 on Community Days.

What special train does Talonflame learn?

As you evolve Fletchling to its final evolution, Talonflame, it learns the fiery move Incinterate. Keep in mind that it must be developed on March 6th from 11am to 7pm in your local time to get this movie.

How can I get the most out of Fletchling’s Community Day?

During the event period, any XP earned from catching Pokémon will be tripled. We therefore recommend using Lucky Eggs when catching Pokémon. These will give you even more XP, which is useful for climbing to level 40 and beyond.

A Fire-type OK attacker for gyms and raids, Talonflame is massively outdone by Pokémon like Reshiram and Chandelure. If you want to use it in raids, set it up with Turn fire and Fire strike (Not the Community Day move.) It’s going to be very good in Ultra League for PvP, with Burn, Good bird, and Flame charge.

When deciding which Shiny Fletchling to evolve at the end of the day, use one of the new search strings. Sort your mons byrecently“Use the icon at the bottom right and then type”4 *”In the search box above. This is how you will find out if you have 100% IV fletchling. Most people won’t be that lucky, so the next thing you’ll want to do is “3 *”In the search box that shows all current mons that are 80% or more. Rate these to find out which one is best, then develop your new buddy further!
