Microsoft is aware of the unresponsiveness problem affecting some Xbox wireless controllers and is looking for a solution.
Obviously there are some problems with the latest version of Xbox wireless controller. Released at the same time as the release of Xbox Series X/S, various users have reported that the controller becomes unresponsive when the buttons on the controller are pressed.
This problem has been reported when using the controller on both consoles and PCs.
Fortunately, Microsoft is aware of the issue and is investigating, but did not provide a timeline (thanks to PC Gamer).
Microsoft told The Loadout: “At Microsoft, we have conducted rigorous quality assurance tests on all products and are committed to providing customers with an unparalleled gaming experience.”
“We know that some players may feel unresponsive to their new Xbox wireless controller, and our team is actively researching solutions. For the best experience, we encourage customers to visit Xbox Support for help.”
This is just the latest issue facing the controller on the console. We are all familiar with Switch Joy-Con drift. President Nintendo even apologized to the Switch owner for this matter, but because the issue is part of a class action lawsuit in the United States and now Canada, he was unable to respond to any specific actions. Nintendo is also facing a lawsuit from a French consumer organization, and several European countries are jointly investigating the Joy-Con Drift issue.
Nintendo is not alone, as some PS5 users have reported drifting issues with Sony’s new DualSense controller.
