Break down the walls, the developer of AWAY: survival series announced that his title will be released for Xbox One in 2021.

Inspired by nature documentaries, AWAY: The Survival Series is a third person adventure game that will take you through awe-inspiring nature trip.

A storm is brewing …

In the distant future, we will play the role of a flying squirrel (more than a sugar glider) which tries to survive a series of natural disasters that threaten the survival of all species on the planet.

As catastrophic storms hit Earth, we must cross large environments in search of safer lands. From the mighty treetops to the forest floor, we will immerse ourselves in nature while exploring a vibrant world brimming with life, but also full of dangers.

We will explore amazing environments and try to survive using skills such as jump, climb, slide, sneak and fight to get out of trouble. In addition, there will be special moments in which we can control other creatures such as beetles, lizards, foxes and more …

AWAY: The Survival Series is a fearless journey into nature.

As explained by the developer, Break down the walls: “In order to fully immerse you in nature, we have created a visually impressive world full of colorful and dynamic environments. Considering the sugar glider’s small size, we wanted to make sure that every plant, leaf, and blade of grass was represented. This attention to detail is noticeable when traversing AWAY’s wide variety of landscapes.“.

The orchestral soundtrackFor its part, it’s great. Is composed of Mike Raznick, winner of several awards for nature documentaries Life Yes Planet Earth II of BBC.

The title seems a priori promising and in Areaxbox we can’t wait to get our teeth into it. In the meantime, we leave you with the trailer of the Xbox One launch imminent.
